Just Starting

Hello, I'm John Sato from St. George, Utah.  I have enjoyed music all my life.  I started playing the piano at age 4 and have been playing ever since.  I took lessons for 18 years and graduated from Utah State University with a B.A. in piano performance and went to USC to work on an advanced degree in piano.  All along the way I enjoyed singing.  I sang in the all the choirs and took 1 year of voice lessons.  I accompanied many singers and went to their lessons and enjoyed all that I learned.  I also accompanied many choirs, some that took me to foreign countries.  I have enjoyed music all my life and it has given me many wonderful memories.

Recently I have discovered the great health benefits of singing, especially for Seniors.  There are hundreds of reasons why seniors should sing.  If you have ever been told "You can't carry a tune in a bucket" I'm telling you that you can.  Everyone can sing.  In the blogs to come I will explain and describe experiences that I have had teaching seniors to sing.  The transformation of their life, mental, physical and emotional have exceeded our expectations.

So join us and start singing!!!!
